To various people, the inspiration of lavishness for a cell phone is to pierce it up with diamonds and gemstones. That’s just unreasonably showy. Aston Martin has a different idea when it comes to modest sophistication and that’s demonstrated by the luxury car company’s future Smartphone impression. It’s clear.
Aston Martin is venturing up with Canada’s Mobiado to produce “a streak of high-end handsets to be launched in May of this year.” The most inspiring of the bunch is the CPT002, because it is designed for a single slab of solid piece of crystal, resulting in a completely transparent capacitive touch screen.
When a reader is interested something really good, it seems very bookstore should have a piece of action. It mostly started with the Amazon Kindle. The same sort of thing is happening with tablets now too, but we’ve got an improbable entry coming down the raceway: GameStop, tablet technology in gaming.
It makes perfect sense for HTC and Samsung to get involved with tablets, But GameStop a video game retailer is working on its own branded gaming tablet devices using touch and play technology interface. This could be a similar approach to something like the Xperia Play, which ties in with Sony’s PlayStation business. GameStop sees an opportunity and wants to strike the pan while it’s still hot. They’ve already get their hands on digital distro service Impulse and game streamer Spawn Labs, both of which point toward that kind of possibility.
The Android world is already quite segmented, so why not add more fuel to the flame by opening up a GameStop branding online store for tablet games? If Amazon can try to compete with Android Market, why GameStop wouldn’t try that route too. This way, they don’t have to mess with the added barriers of supporting their own hardware. In any case, the rumour says that the GameStop gaming tablet is due for release by the end of the year.
NEC announced to launch the world’s first fingerprint scanner, This latest technology simultaneously get fingerprint and finger vein characteristics without physical contact. The device model (HS100-10) has weighs less than 90g, it has USB2.0 interface allowing users to connect it with PC/laptops. NEC claims that the new hybrid scanner with a dynamic technology offers better security, due to its dual scan method.
Moreover, since scanner is contactless, it is healthy against sweaty fingers, which is a problem on the usual contact-based fingerprint verification devices.
NEC will demonstrate the HS100-10 at “Pulse 2011″ in Las Vegas and delivery will start this May.
